It's been a while since I seen one of those. Had the misfortune of changing a cylinder liner on one of those engines, unfortunately the engine room crane was gubbed so we had to use a 20t chain block. At anchor off Singapore

I’m sure there is, nobody knows everything and at least he’s started a manufacturing company rather than working in Starbucks with an Art History degree.
The mini mill is a hand tool when machining parts like thatAmazing what fits inside a Haas mini mill these days
Be very careful if my wife sees this she will find you and explain that she is in fact Google and knows everything

If you cant recognise basic tooling and a lump of cast iron being machined it ain’t good.
Its not like im pulling him for not knowing some strange super alloy or specialist tip

Just looked at the part and it could be relatively easy to make with a CNC lathe and Mill although the time spent would vary massively depending on whether the ball shape needs to be ball shaped at the flat faces. If so then I think that would require 3D milling which would soon add up the time and costs. It could also be done on a manual as most things can, but if it has to be true to the drawing then time and setups would be the killers.
Of course that is all just my opinion, I am just self taught so...
I think I will have a wee go at drawing it in fusion, it will be a nice wee learning exercise for me seeing as Fusion is new to me.

Well that was fairly simple to do in Fusion although I took two attempts at getting the centre correct and having to type bloody inch dimensions goes against the grain
First off the turned part which would be the first op for me.
Then a case of lopping off the material from the bottom and boring the hole and machining the pockets.
Flip over and do the second side. If the ball shape needs to be there then I reckon that will be 3D milling and time consuming.
If the edges could be straight down like below then that would save a lot of machining time.
