Just had a thought ..
Cutting & welding a small recessed sump in the floor of the tray so you can slip a plastic stopper plug in it and adding a hose to the ball valve outlet would see most of any crud swept to the recess washed out of the sump once the plug is removed and the ball valve is valve opened Once cleaned pour a half bucket of clean water in the sump to flush it then close the ball valve off and replace the plug /

Been a while since I updated this.
I've started just using away at the table. I drove myself nuts trying to use 60 amp nozzles and settings... They would only last a couple of pierces before blowing one side slightly and then cutting with a bad taper.
However, the 90 amp nozzles running at 80 amps seem perfect!! I've cut a load of 10mm recently with them, and the edge quality is fantastic. As good as it gets for standard definition plasma.
The hole quality is still poor, but more or less acceptable I think for what it is. It's the taper more than anything. I'm using sheetCAM with rules... Holes below 20mm use 40% feed rate. So a 16mm hole on 10mm plate is cutting to around 15mm at the bottom side.
The feedrate for the 10mm at 80a was 950mm/min. It will push faster, but I'm more interested in quality than speed.

You won't get many Hypertherm spares for that amount. However they do last OK. The only way to check is to do side by side 'long lasting checks'. Hypertherm do sate that their consumables last a long time, but without any reference there is no way to know. I was in this morning, before any one was up to try and clear a few dramas. Firstly the cnc torch height control was not operating as expected, have done many checks without success. So decided to change the torch height control board. This was worse than before. Do a test cut and torch would slowly go down till the emergency stop would trip on the floating head. Swapped to last remaining board (I have three) and it seemed to operate as expected. Haven't cut anything so don't actually know if it is good now. Since it was 'cutting' could do the scriber calibration. I have made up a job for scriber calibration, where the scriber draws a cross in the middle of a test piece, then the plasma cuts it out. You can then measure if the cross is in the middle and if not adjust the post processor to correct that. I have it down to .1mm error so i'm leaving it at that. I will pack up the offending troch height control cards and send them back to USA for repairs. I damaged (bent the **** out of it)the scriber mount so had to make a new version. Some 10mm S/S plate should do. Now I don't know what I will bend (break) next time. Final thing was to see if I have had a answer regarding ECU problem on my truck
