Cold bits.....That's quite a wade! I'd be nervous of it getting washed away. I'm sure the door seals didn't keep the river out too much either?

He's got a bed full of crap and has seen somewhere to flytip.Judging by the scenery, he's trying to get into Skyfall without being spotted![]()

Going by the size of his collection @Matchless is just waiting to buy them out. There are a few Matchless owners on here, though I only have singles.
I have had many Landrovers on lease including the 5L v8 supercharged.
The Landrover that suprised me the most was the Freelander 2. I thought it would be rubbish. Instead it was awesome in ice and snow. Traction aids were brilliant. And it is the best vehicle I have ever driven on soaking wet roads. No aquaplaning at all. Range Rovers tend to be on 275 tyres which are too wide!
Weird I drove it in around 2010 - had it for about 6months. It was a top of the range diesel vogue. I found it very car like - only complaint was steering was too light.Interesting you say that
i thought the freelander 2 was such an agricultural car to drive I was so disappointed
I think I wanted it to drive more like they do now if that makes sense

Freelander 1 or 2? Big difference.this would have been one of the first ones out and honestly I thought it was awful
from memory the door seals weren't a problem (it does have seals), it was all over in a few seconds and I was on the bank feeling quite relievedThat's quite a wade! I'd be nervous of it getting washed away. I'm sure the door seals didn't keep the river out too much either?
I just use the reply, button.wanted to respond to posts here regarding a couple of Classics I especially like, Saab 96 and Citroen DS Safari for starters; but can't work out this 'Quote' business. Pressing the button gets me a 'Toggle to Multi-Quote' banner at the top of my screen which doesn't appear to be clickable and makes no sense to me. Tower PC based so maybe its meant for users of more modern equipment? Must've been covered before, someone got a link?

Never figured out the quoting thing. But, I'm special.
