Piher do some really nice F clamps, bit spendy though, I'm reluctant to use them for welding, even though that's what I bought them for.
I use a ratchet clamp to get the joint set up then fit the carver clamp when both hands are free. has any one used these? if not are there better clamps for the money?

I have some really old f clamps, but no idea who made them. They work really well, but if you really want to fix something , say like clamping an anvil to a roof beam, then carvers are unbeatable!
