stuvy Member Messages 9,304 Jul 6, 2019 #2 I take it the legs stand it about 6/8inches off the ground? Will it be moved or kept in the same place? You can buy vht paint that’s cheap as chips and repaint it every year or so

Bore some holes into them to fit the legs and place it into them. A simple metal tray, painted with fire grate paint will collect the ashes etc. For stains, citric acid and washing up liquid will shift the stains.
