...there will be no insurance...
Ah! That's the bit of info that many of us didn't spot / grasp - we all figured he'd be headed across roundabouts, backwards!
Amazing what a little context does

...there will be no insurance...

Now he is just about to turn 18 so cheap insurance is the main thing, anything else can be sorted by me.
Also on private land as mentioned in a previous post there will be no insurance, this is why I won't let him use his current daily

Like I said, if you do it in a Marina, you ain't going very fast
my younger brother
he wants to learn how to control and slide a car about.
Now he is just about to turn 18
Any suggestions?

So in that case. buy a wreck and just play with it entirerly on the land - then he can buy a knackered 3L BMW 3 series and not have to MOT or insure it.

whats the difference between a bmw 318 and a 318ti? or in other words, what does the ti stand for?
Whats the 4wd Ignis like? Been thinking about one for myself.my younger brother is currently driving a Suzuki ignis awd but he wants something fun.
He has never been into cars at all but he has asked me if I can find him a rwd as he wants to learn how to control and slide a car about.
Now he is just about to turn 18 so cheap insurance is the main thing, anything else can be sorted by me.
I'm thinking he doesn't need much power as long as the car is light.
Any suggestions?
