They are but they aren't, its comes down to what fan club you subscribe to.
Totally, my lad has started at college, they have Stihl and Husky saws. We have Stihl at home so he's been using the college's MS261 but he said the when ever the instructor does a demonstration he always picks up one of the Huskys. On Tuesday both Huskys broke down but the Stihl were fine. He was all chuffed with himself today as he'd had a look at one of the Huskys while the others were doing some cutting and found the chain was all bound up on the sprocket which stopped it starting. This meant they had an extra saw and he was able to run a saw for the rest of the day.
He's going to take one of our saws in next week as he spent more time sharpening theirs than sawing, he said to the instructor "My dad said nobody else is allowed to use it though" and the instructor said he totally agreed after watching some of them "digging for worms"
