Managed to grab a couple of hours, a bit more of a clean up and a couple of coats of epoxy, only brushed on as none of it is seen, a coat of paint does wonders

There was still a fair bit of old outer sill to get off so that was saturday gone grinding and chopping!
A fair few "MOT patches" had to be removed first to find the spot welds

Its pretty good considering, only a bit of the centre strengthener flange has gone, but at the back corner a lot of the inner is bad which may mean I have to chop the strengthener off to give me room,
Ill have a ponder over a bottle of red later, might have a hunt around for some panels but there is not a lot about

Im really at the point of pulling the back axle so that might be sundays job

Bit of fabrication required today, only of the timber type as ive got lots of that and no metal!

It does have a couple of pins in the end that locate into some handy holes in the subframe

Which goes like this, I will use the bigger jack that has a nice big pad, should make it easier and keep it level/reasonably stable, last time it was out was about 18 years ago so im hoping most of the fixings should un-fix

Did manage to do a little bit of stripping and ping the springs out, Id forgotten how chunky these were being 17mm wire

I meant looks like you’ll have to remove the subframe to get to it properly

Slight adaption to the onemanaxleremovaljigframethingy so we will call it the MK2
3 casters which give just enough height to keep the discs off the ground

The fixing are looking crusty but its not a Ford so they should come undone ok

This is my only concern as the last people there were Monkfish Performance fitting some prototype poly bushes

Jobs a goodun, just got to find somewhere to stash it now, its quite a lump but rolls about lovely on the casters

Might need to lay down for a bit while I work out how im going to tackle the repairs

A scrape off and clean up will make it look a bit better! to be fair its 33 years old and 380,000 miles so its not a surprise really

Im not having much luck finding the other panels to help with the repairs so a rummage in the panel store is on the cards
There wont be anything exact but maybe something close to the right shape I can bash about, I may be some time...
