Looks good, just off for my daily humble pie.
What pant did you use?

Dont eat the pie just yet, the MIPA data sheet does specify both ways either straight on with 3 coats of thinned colour and clear coat when dry and roughed up or 1 coat of colour with hardener, another coat just thinned and then clear coat
It may all peel of like a bit sheet of clingfilm yet so lets see how it lasts

I was hungry anyway so have humble credit.
I’ve just had a quick Look and it seems to me that the tds says flatting with 1000-1500 is for the substrate when using their vicrom which I think is their “chrome” basecoat but it’s not very well written.
Should be ok.


P.S. mixing base oat and hardener is a new one on me.

Mipa BC2 was the colour coat , I think that's a different date sheet to the one I have but I read that as the flatting down grades to prepare it for the clear?
