as soon as you put ts on your postcode round our way the premium goes up
yes very much so, vans are an entity to themselves as theyre getting broken into for tools so claims are on the increase and so are premiums but if you google the thefts of 2018 ford and audi are the highest which has an effect on insurance in the long run.Do you think so? I am in London and got a quote on a S5 last Autumn, it would have been less to insure than my Merc Vito, in the end I hummed and ared too long and some one else bought it, shame because it was a very nice example of one of the last v8 S5s manual box too.![]()
If you do that then ensure it includes commuting as named drivers are often restricted to pleasure use only. You could try,and sometimes this works, insure it in your name and you put her as an insured driver, worth a try
it works in their favour thats all the reason they need, it has nothing to do with risk.Doesn’t even matter if it wasn’t your fault. Insurance told me that the fact someone had driven into me made me a higher risk. How that one works out I’ll never know. I just treat insurance quotes as a random number generator now
That’s a real good shout rich.Fit a tracker Brad and tell them in the quote. It should decrease significantly
Half the problem isn’t just her age or previous accident, it’s the fact it’s a reasonable performance car and they do get nicked.
When I was doing the bike quotes on the 10r I put tracker fitted to see what it come out as and it was reduced by half. So I fitted one and insured it. I know bikes are even more at risk but it could potentially knock a good lump off if you can tell an insurance company the car can be tracked.
I remember before the bike arrived I was messing about with the compare sites playing with the answers to see what differences were made and putting tracker fitted took it right down from over 550 quid to what I’m paying now at £310.That’s a real good shout rich.
