Thank you that will be my next step, , I am super careful about dangerous voltages, more worried about voiding warrantyIf it was me...I'd unplug and then open up the case and check the solenoid (tap the solenoid with a few firm hits). Plug it back in and pull the trigger - does gas come out of the tip? Remove the tip and nozzle to be sure.
If not: either check the solenoid is getting power (multimeter) or just checking it works: unplug, take off the hose going towards the gun and then plug it back in and pull the trigger to see if gas hisses out of the solenoid.
But that's me. I won't suggest you do it if you're not OK working with dangerous voltage. If you want to wait on Sherman's reply that's fine.
