Making some boxes with fillet joints on 3mm corten-A for garden architecture.
I don't need colour match but don't want the weld preferentially rusting out.
The best article I've seen says I can use mild steel electrodes for single pass since there will be enough base metal dilution to protect the weld joint.

The article says you can use commonly used carbon steel rods such as 7018 but I assume I can use 6013 too since the core metal is similar. I don't want to get an oven for the 7018's
Thanks
