There are a lot of people about who don't have the fine motor control to do things like this.
Cack handed is the official term.
Some people shouldn't be allowed sharp objects or power tools.

Was there not an article concerning worries about future surgeons struggling with motor control.
Instead of playing with toys to teach and improve control kids are using tablets and controllers and not developing it as well as they should.?
Like saying "I'm not mechanically minded" - What they mean is "can't be a....d to have a look and work out how something works.

I do a fair bit of work for a chap I know, I don’t have to take any of my kit.
He has a cracking shed full of kit and no idea how to use it!
Was there a couple of weeks ago building him a work bench in his new shed and putting shelves up.

Cant understand buying tools if you no clue how to use or willingness to learn.
I'd never welded anything when got my first welder. Still wamted to learn tho.
I do know someone people refer to as *all the gear, no idea". He is one of those experts on everything too. Few of them about unfortunately.
That said not every project is abandoned cos of skills needed. Cash, health, family issues all happen too. See that on Car S.O.S.
I not done much with van over winter, partly weather, but health issues too as mentioned before. Out there yday tho as nice day. Only fiddly little stuff, task of seperaitng AA wiring nearly finished thankfully.
