Im going to buy one of these -

I was going to wait until after Christmas, as i dont need it now, and, in usual circumstances, that would be the sensible thing to do. Plus as i dont need it until the new year, i figured id just buy it then anyway.
But you see the two big players above are both out of stock. Its not, so far as i can tell, an end of line item, just supply line issues. FFX still has units at a bit more money, and then plenty on amazon etc for almost £100 more.
Its likely the pound will tank in the new year, and supply line issues will get even worse, so it would seem like the best plan to buy now, right? Traditionally a stupid time to buy a tool not needed until the new year, but i cant see a better plan.
Does this constitute panic buying?
