I didn't think of thatHave a search online for the datasheet for it. One of the manufacturers should have it online somewhere. Toshiba, Philips etc. all used to have good online repositories for datasheets. Don't know if that's still the case though.
Because I don't need one, I only thought about this because I found the ICwhy don't you buy one of those Naim amp clone kits.
Yes, it would be interesting, I might do it someday.I suggested that because it sounded like you were interested in this kind of thing and those kits aren't expensive and there are large groups of people spending there hobby time building and modifying them. So there is plenty to learn by getting involved and talking to others.
People have been adding DAC's and all sorts.
