Is this bike from AliExpress, Matt? Looks good.
How are the cells being connected? Series / parallel, but how many groups? 91 cells doesn't divide up very nicely, except by 13 or 7. The numbers don't add up!
3 Kw sounds like fun.
Like a quieter and very much lighter FS1E / TY50.
The bike is pretty much built, took it slowly over the course of 3 or 4 days.
I can get some detailed pics and do a bit of a write up if you want.
I was out during lockdown and 'nipping' up a fairly long but moderate climb locally when I got passed by one of Queen's 'Fat Bottomed Girls' (my panniers are smaller ) - she didn't pass slowly either - her partner followed - I was glad to hear the motors running . Fair respect to her for being on the bike and absolutely brilliant but it really did bring home to me how much advantage a bit of electric assist can be.Agreed, a write up would be appreciated. I've half a mind to do something similar, as the idea of cycling sounds good, except, well, uphill.
