I'm desperate to try out the new dynasty 210 Like that one you bought recently. I loved the Dx200 when I had a play with that.
Goes for all miller inverters. They were made with welders in mind.We had a 210 on the bench the other day, nothing beats its panel.. hands down 10/10 for ease of use.
Completely agree mate, their transformer MIGs are really simple too. The MIG Matic DX range's panel is very similar to that of the Dynasty TIG sets, probably my favourite MIG range on the market.Goes for all miller inverters. They were made with welders in mind.
Milli. While I'm of the same opinion to a degree that I will invest in better gear than the budget end offerings you need to understand that 80% of the members on this forum weld less than 5-10 hours a week. This is a hobby welders dominated forum and to lay a grand out on a hobby is pretty dedicated if you ask me.This is the problem unfortunately, with many budget machines similar to those mentioned above, they are mostly made to a very similar specification/ quality and sold in various colours with different names on them that are familiar to the general/ home/ hobby user for other products. The company putting their name on the side are unlikely to have full control on the development of the product, selection of components etc. For the very low selling price, you have to consider that both the actual producer and the company re-branding and selling the machine have to make their profit, meaning the actual value of engineering in the machine is likely to be a couple of hundred pounds. Though there is obviously a market for lower budget AC/DC machines, my opinion would be to try to invest a little more, or at least look for a used machine from a known brand that have developed and manufactured under their own quality and standards, of course with support for service etc. As I said, this is only my opinion, i have read reports both very good and very bad of peoples experiences.

6milli I wasn't having a pop at you regarding name dropping. I was fully aware you mentioned no brands in particular. I used your brand as an example to relate to yourself and the stunning product range you have. I know many users of this forum have ewm gear and I haven't heard a negative word from them about it and you won't get one from me either. We are also very lucky to have Jim D on here to answer any questions about it we may have. That said welding machines from all ends of the scale are owned and talked about on here daily and there are good eggs and bad eggs. For the money the generic Chinese inverters that are branded parweld and thermal arc seem to be good eggs. Many many owners on here of those units most if not all the posts I've read suggest they are happy with there purchase and the company's/distributors that support them seem to back them up. I'd say there was little to worry about regarding them. I've not hidden my feelings on the subject and I would plough more cash into higher end gear. I do try to source private owned used and in the past has paid off but I'm also a type of person that enjoys the top line products enough to spend extra on them. If the Rehm blew up tomorrow I'd seriously consider a new 3-4K set up because to me it's worth it.You will notice that i mention no brand names in my previous post, as I do not have first hand experience of the mentioned products. My only point is that on occasion the user may not know what he is actually buying, I receive spurious emails on a daily basis offering various inverters for sale at prices you would not believe, i sometimes follow up with a little research and discover that the offered product is available in many colours and with countless different brand names. I of course appreciate that this is in the main a forum visited by hobbyists, and as I said budget priced products quite obviously have a place in the market and just wanted to highlight that you should be aware to not buy just because of the name on the side of the product alone. Incidentally we have also sold to many hobby users, many of whom are active on this forum too
Why on earth would you sell it ogg. Surely you could use it more and enjoy it. Get your money's worth. You'll never get your cash back if it's out of warranty. Not even close.I have a parweld xti 202 coming up for sale in the next day or two, its done half hour of welding,
