Never thought of that, but should be okay.

It's in four pieces, the back being a separate piece which is all that's insulated. Most likely it will crack along the joins, and if it does, I'll just seal them up again. Or get a new one.

I cant see it cracking. It will still all heat up and relatively gradually at that. The back of lots of cast stoves will be protected by fire bricks and none of mine have cracked.

There's two options for the mesh on these racks. Hand made custom wool at £50 each that have to be cut to fit, or eBay china nylon at £8 that will do two.

Guess which I went for....

It's near the end. Once I've the IT working there's the doors, and the window surrounds. Then making good on damage from fitting stuff. Then fitting the seats.



Given the weather I'm going to hold off from the exterior tidy up until spring.

I'm bored of it now to be honest. I want to get back to my 101 rebuild.

My goodness, that uPVC is brittle.

Vinyl covering is satisfying. The glue is good. Manageable and quick drying.

And it all fits! I'll glue this lot in place tomorrow, and have a decent chance of fitting the TV and all. Then I can fit the seats. They're nice.
