Bosch grinder parts

On site, probably but at home there's a chance I might see it and not cut or trip over it!

All my gear gets yellow for this reason as and when when the leads need replacing. I’ve a roll end of it just for that job. Had it years. The mig is the best thing it’s on. Saved me tripping over the lead no end of times.

I did wonder though with all the red tape and regulation that we have nowadays, you can never be sure

Oh i'm sure with the way things are now there are plenty of sites where someone would throw a wobbly over a yellow cable on a 240v grinder.

(When i was a courier i delivered to a site and they kicked off because i was wearing shorts, you'd think i'd turned up with a bomb the way they were going on.)

I should find some high-vis hot pink cable for mine. Oh yes, just my colour daaahling.

Why's yellow illegal ?

not illegal , but some folk would want to plug it into 110 ,,, which wont work as the 16a 110 and the 16a 240 are different for that reason ,,, but it wouldnt stop some one cutting the plug off and putting a 110 on it ,,, folk are like that , I prefer rubber cable anyway ... its just three times the price of a roll of arctic.
Now where can i get some of that cloth covered twisted twin core from the fifties ,,, that would be retro .

I've known the empty casing of an old 110V trannie be used for smuggling gear off site in the old days.....

I've seen blue plugs with the lug cut off and sprayed yellow...which turned a yucky orange...
