The problem with any paint matching is that they are creating a fresh pant to match a paint that has faded over decades. This means that even if it did match the reality is it will only match for a period of time as when the new paint fades it will fade completely differently as it will have different pigment level to match the faded paint.
You are doing an honest repair and it's part of the cars history. I'm guessing you want to get the car usable so you can enjoy it and a bit a of unmatched paint isn't going to affect that.
