having problems with my welder burning back etc.,
it start of by burning back but if i move the torch further away at the start and push back in its seems ok.
while welding at times its start to spit half way through the welds.
welds lovely sound like bacon frying but now again it will play up.
its frustrating at times and feel like putting the sledge hammer through the welder.
its a portamig 216.
I have a feeling that the torch is to long at 4 mtrs for the little rollers to push through.
put a new liner in and tips but got problems.
not had a problem that I can recall with a 3 mtr torch.
took the welder panels off and cleaned inside etc checked all connections.
so I dont know whats causing it to play up.
