Record No 518 1/2 HEAVY DUTY CHIPPING BENCH VICE 8 1/2" 516 114 | eBay
Only a little at the back that I never used anywaytaking up all available bench space by the look of it
U grab them and throw them down on the floor and when it chips the concrete u go again lol. Just kidding think it was for holding large casting and ‘chipping’ the cast ridge off. Or along those lines? What is a chipping vice used for?
I have the manufacturing capacity to make them and I reckon people will want them and I want to eventually become a tool manufacturer and stop the job shop bs@pressbrake1 , you've found a foundry and have moulds.
How many are you going to have made?
Not one of two I'd imagine?
You going to punt some out.
If so pm me please, you never know...
Thanks, Mat
Depending on price, I'd 'like' one, don't know if I need one.I have the manufacturing capacity to make them and I reckon people will want them and I want to eventually become a tool manufacturer and stop the job shop bs

Well thay ar made with 30-35ton per square inch of malleable iron am sure it would but personally I wouldn’t I would use my 7” blacksmith vice. That thing is over 120 years old and will go for another 120so are they good for getting a beating with a club hammer then as they dont sound like they would take a club hammer mine has though
This 2" Wilton is currently for sale in that range, and it doesn't even have the Power-Arm base. The highest priced vice is just over £1000 on eBay.
If the record 518 estimated at over 250lb, what's that looking to weigh in at!
Guess you will making the screw etc?
Be well worth a follow this one
Well you won't have to follow it far, though it might alter the earths rotation
