Beryllium? Hammer

A Cu-Be hammer will be much harder than a 'brass' version.
Few quid to buy new.


Been at a customer site this week with various zones where non spark tools must be used and atex equipment... took longer to get a permit than to do the actual job.

Most of the part holding and clamping tooling on the welding fixtures were Beryllium copper as they had to be hard wearing, conductive and weld wouldn't stick to them.

It seems hard to buy nicely shaped handles these days. I think i have bought 15 handles in the last week, lots of different makes, none are as nicely shaped as older handles. All seem odd priportuons compared to how old ones are.
I figured if I feel they need reshaping, I'll do them as I go.
