It works superb. Finally I have the band saw I've always wanted.
I gave it a test run on various bits of scrap. 10mm aluminium, 5 mm steel and even some 6mm durbar steel plate. All cut with ease and leaves a very nice finish.

On another note I also use carbon steel blades nice and cheap and work well get them on eBay I usually use 14 tpi
On my Rexon ,the side skirt of the table is drilled to take a slightly tapered 8 mm or so plug bolt , it stops the table top vibrating when it is tapped in . I've put it on a 2 mm or so steel bowden cable and anchored it to the body of the saw to stop losing it when I change blades .
