Bad Fillet Weld, Needs Work!

Using a 6013 3.2mm rod @ around 100 or so Amps, I tried a fillet weld on a small piece of 4mn thick mild steel. This was with the Inverter Fusion MMA 160.

A really need to work on steadying my hand and other techniques, etc.

When I was having issues with slag inclusions in fillets I was advised to turn the amps up. Worked a treat.

Initially the welds looked like yours.

try getting the amps up and resting the rod and let it burn its self down, you just need to feed it in, hovering is hard work.
