That’s awesome.

That’s awesome.
Brad, Are you using a accumulator to achieve hydraulic flow speed.
When you designed it did you use yield strengths to work out structure as I’ve seen some mess ups when they have uts for working out csa of stress members
It’s a lump n half. There won’t be much it won’t break once up and running. No calculations done to be honest mate we are not structural engineers, we have used 250 x 100 x 36kg PFC think it’s S355 for the uprights, 15mm S355 for the base plate, 25mm S235 for the top.
I think we should use something like S690 or Strenx.
If it breaks we will rebuild
No idea about the pump, a hydraulic pump company supplied it for the application.
Richard has seen it, it’s a lump.

I am currently building a 30tonne bottle jack press for a neighbour.I think that I will make one of this but hacking a car jack (50 tons) and using a little motor to pump the jack
I need to bend metal plates and do bearing stuff
I need one also to forging because I can't use the traditional anvil and hammer ,my shop is upstairs and wont disturb to much my neighbor(downstairs) (my engine driven welder ,my bench ,my sockets rack stand ,my first welder ,some other things are there,my chainsaw two angle grinders ....)

Unlikely - trouble is finding it.Bob, is there anything you haven’t made or got?
Unlikely - trouble is finding it.
To put the difficulty into perspective we both spent 15 minutes looking for an entire Land Rover engine!
