well looks like i'm going to be experimenting shortly..... read through a few supplyers websites the WON one ummm they seem to overhype themselves a bit and it's all perfectly safe but it'll go boom if you don't use there stuff. yeah right seems to only be the americans really useing the stuff now.
seems i need a wet port injection kit. the more i look at the kits tho the more i just see what i see as relativly standard industrial bits that have been anodised at meany times there real price.
i'm thinking hydralic selonoid valves will do infact i recon there might actualy be all the clutter in the workshop i need, the WON website says there nylon line actauly works better than braded hose but when i look at it all i see is pushfit airline....... i'm still resiting the urge to experiment but i cant see it lasting for long recon i chould rig it up and just blast co2 from a pub gas bottel through it on the bench to see if it works

do not use WON under any circumstances . there are **** . very clever with gas but will kill your engine and his way is the ONLY WAY. apart from the thousands of racers that use different systems. don't make your own kit using hydraulic stuff. it will freeze open and make your engine in to puddle of mixed metal. with nitrous you are injecting a liquid at minus (a lot) odd degrees , not a gas . buy a regular kit from one of the many suppliers that has all of the bits in and only use a wet kit.
well WON have a lot of stuff published where it dose come across that there way is the only way AND they also say all the american kits are crap ...... now as all the americans seem to love playing with nitrus i would have thought there kits would be pritty good......
Went to a rather nice park at Shooters Hill this morning to walk the dogs with the grand children, and round the seats the ground was littered with hundreds of little silver 'Sparklet' cylinders. My son in law disillusioned me - unlike sparklets cylinders that contain CO2 - apparently these contain Nitrous Oxide and are a supposedly 'legal high'. What is the world coming to

I run nitrous on my street car, the system is tunable from 50hp - 175hp,
Seems a lot but that is on a 5.7lite engine thats already making about 400hp,
theres not much chance of hurting the motor so long as its installed as per the manufactuers setting which are normally on the safe/rich side,
yeah you'll make more power by turning the wick up power wise but thats bring a whole new much of tuning issues,
Ie; you'll need pull timing advance out of the motor and run colder plugs or you'll start burning pistons, rings etc,
massive power can be made with nitrous in the right hands, a race car that i crew on adds an extra 450hp on just the nitrous tune!
it empties 4lb of a 5lb bottle in about 7 seconds,
It also can be expensive...

If your engineering is comparable to your spelling, not sure your 1000hp lump is going to live that long?
there is no comparison. speling writeing isn't my strong point infact its my biggest curse allways has been and it's a lot better than it was, my enginnering on the other had is, if it needs to be written right it's written by someone else.
also you obviously cant read as where the hell did 1000 bhp come from i'm only considerign sparkeling a motor up into the mid 200's as that what i need from it, the blocks only eally good for 700 ish anyway if i went nuts i'd have to build from a diesel block to make the 1000 ponies and i aint doing that

Linde gases are the main Nitrous supplier, once again you're into cylinder rental territory similar to your argon bottle, you need to get through a lot of nitrous to warrant that,
Easier said than done filling your own bottles from a big one, you'll need an expensive Cryo pump or there is another way where you freeze one bottle but cant remember the exact way its done.

That's a bit harsh.
i just rember some years ago going upto raceshack in tewksbury ( i think they've gone now ) on a saturday or sunday to swap a wishbone on a jetta for a friend of a friend who bent it titing around on snow in the carpack. and they had some bottels sat in the corner with what basicly looked like a really long braded brake line conencted upto them for doing refills
just figureing out whats what with it atm. as you say it all depends how much i use if it's worth haveing a bottel on rental or not, the way with my pet car seem to be it'll not come out far ages then get a lot of use when it dose come out

A very good friend of mine has dislexia and has to use spell check on forums etc,
the problem for him is that it selects the word but deciding from the options often prooves difficult,
He does his best though...
