My new Chinese CNC control uses one26 pin HD d-sub female gender used as plug... would have a mating male gender socket on the corresponding equipment. Pretty old school, as I haven't seen anything similar since the early 90s in even rare usage. Usually found on high-end CAD monitors and old UNIX workstation video connectors, plus some old HP kvm switchboxes. Found some "common" pinouts at https://connector.pinoutguide.com/26_pin_hi-density_D-SUB/.
It has its own software in it.Whats software does it run?

It seems excellent so far.
Couple of gripes are that tools in the tool table page are only identified by numbers, no way to put a descriptive name
The transferring/copying etc of files takes a wee bit of getting used to compared to a windows PC based controller.
Both are minor things really and the control itself works very well and is very responsive.
Never tried and not sure if it can.
It has G32, G76 and G93 so it may be a possibility but I have never looked into it.
It cuts threads beautifully, have only done a few but this was one I did the last day, 1 1/2" UNF on some 316.

Never had a problem whether on the manual or the CNC, I do however, nearly always, use carbide full profile threading inserts.Thats clean, i've cut threads in 316 and they were raggy no matter what i did.
