the answer to that is sometimes.

however for the disbelievers, i looked it up, if a unit has to have any connection made or disturbed to fit it, it cannot be sold without proof the fitter is f-gas qualified.

The rules in the link dont cover propane based refrigerant R290. Which will be why they state no f gas. Not sure Id be happy with propane leaking into a room with the door shut, keeping the cooled air in. If the system contained enough gas to reach the lower explosive limit in the room one might get a rude awakening when they switch the light on.

but you have to have been an apprentice for 2+ years

I started early before they brought in the apprentice thing

buy a freezer and stick tubes into it so it looks like boiler tubes the more pipes used the cooler that pipe is going to be

and because your not damaging the freezer except for holes to use your pipes then its creates a sealed cold box
