anyone got split A/C in their home?

I have never done anything to any of mine in years, apart from clean the internal dust filters on the inside machine, in my mind they are like all cheap white goods, use them until they blow then replace them.

thats what i had in mind , dust off the filters , leaf blower on the outside part

i guess im trying to convince myself a cheaper one is just as good as spending 2-3x on a mitsi then £50 a year in the hopes i get a free capacitor after 5 years , you know thats near 3 of the cheaper units
