it doesn't stretch very far in one pull before it snaps, but if its worked gently it expands quite a lot

the thing is, each letter hardly has to deform from flat at all. and it is only 2 out of 32 stickers that are affected

Yeah I think its quite acceptable overall
and I think once its one it will be fine. The glue usually gets a better grip after a day or two anyway. The 9 is actually one of the widest letters and only has a small hole in the middle and its not surprising that needs a bit more work. Or it could be as simple as not "clean" enough. They use rubbing alcohol. But I think alcohol should only be drunk so cant bring myself to use it lol

Me I would not bother. Its not easy fitting inside on a curved window. You have done the easiest way. The photo is quite acceptable. I would just replace the 9 and which ever other one is raised. I cant even see another bad letter on the photo lol

right, well I will re cut the affected stickers tomorrow, clean the area again, re-apply and see what happens. weirdly the 6, is actually an upside down 9, I only printed the 9 and used it for both and the 6 is fine

the o in property, top centre of the letter, there is a raised bit that wont stick, and is now full of water so is ruined

I bought a vinyl cutter to cut masking, as my old hands and eyes aren't as good as they were,
but your letters don't look to badly cut at all. If you have an art shop near by see if they have Fiskar
swivel knives, think mine cost 2 quid, the blade swivels so you just trace the letter, cut a few
letters and you will get the hang of it, works much better than a scalpel.
If you really want them cut out I can do it.

I've seen someone use a small pizza cutter to cut the vinyl but they where good at their art.

well I recut the affected stickers, pre heated the rear screen and applied them a bit wet. This is the result on the 9

I am happy with that, no air bubbles and its flat. The rear screen heater hasn't affected any other stickers, and they all stand up to the rear wiper, not that I use it much but with the wipers in the rear is triggered everytime I use reverse.

Take the rear wiper arm off I had a van with side windows which had been a roofer's crew bus and was stickered at one time. They were all removed and it was well cleaned but when it fogged up you could still see the outline of the writing and I had it 5 years.

its not causing any harm lol and knowing my luck if I took it off the car would find out and refuse to start.til I put it back. I wont be selling this on, once in done with its being crushed
