Just in case you don't know, an Internet Radio connects to your router via cable or wifi, and makes it effortless to tune in to all the radio stations that stream. Estimates on how many that is range from 25,000 to 40,000. So as well as all the BBC stations, you might even find a station that is dedicated just to mig welding.
Being something of an insomniac, I mainly listen in the early hours of the morning ( I have a remote controlled radio so can change channels from under the covers
) and currently tend to go to one of the following stations;
BBC Radio 4 Extra
Pumpkin FM (2 stations doing vintage British Comedy)
Various National Public Radio (NPR) stations in the US ; sensible radio from stations funded by public subscription
CBC Canada (a bit like a Canadian Radio4/5 mixture)
LBC and Talksport (certain highly selected programmes).
BBC World Service
Soft Classic Rock (exactly that 24/7/365) typically; Steely Dan, Eagles, Doobies, Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, with no announcer/DJ and no ads - Groovy
.
Anyone else listening on the Internet, and if so, what are you listening to?
