Welding a '66 Mustang ...

For my Mustang resto I'm looking into buying a rotisserie and have had my eye on one for a while now which the guy will dispense with when his painter is ready so he says - may be a month still but hey, I've been waiting since December ...
But I do know of people on the Mustang club forum for instance who have designed and made their own - in fact the one I'm maybe getting was designed from various plans found on the 'net and made by a fabricator whose unit is next door to the business this guy runs ... convenient.
Not going to go down this route myself (making one) as a) need it before I'll be confident enough to make one and b) the smallish welder I'm going to buy (£220 budget) won't weld such thick steel ... I'm buying it for the thinner work ala on the car.
Here's some pics of the one I should be getting .... looks pretty sturdy to me.
Cheers all
