Any sort of market for Douglas Fir?

I have a tall Douglas Fir in my garden. Not sure why but it's started losing large branches, and I need to get a tree guy in to take a look. If I decided to take the entire tree out, is there in value in the wood? DeHaviland Mosquito main spars as I recall.

If it’s shedding branches presumably it’s dying, so unlikely to be any value in it - it’ll go for biomass.

Ordinarily urban timber is worthless unless you utilize it yourself. You might get very lucky and someone could mill it for beams and they really really need it and the log is exceptional. I rate your chances 1/1000.

It's probably caught the bug, and needs to be burned.
