Day 3 the last of the boards went down, trims around, worked out the run off onto the roof and then got a layer down. Ended up with a small amount of water contamination on the last 2 sheets as it started spitting just after.
i dont supose if you offed to do the next doors for free if they paid for the metrials this would help the trubble is if they are getting wet in there side it will track down the joists and in to your property i had this with a garage years ago in the last properety spoke to next door said 3 of the joists need replacing and they go through your garage as well they helped with the cost of the wood and such and had all the problems fixed by me for i think the cost of round £100 that covered all new fixings the wood and trim to join the 2 garages
Day 4. After brushing off the water and giving it a few hours the last 2 sheets where only sticky in patches so out came the orbital and some 50 grit and removed the patches. Got the capping trim over and got the second layer on. Almost. 3 litres of resin short, last strip. We were perhaps a bit liberal on the first.
I priced the neighbours for him with no labour but he didn't get back to me. Old chap with dementia so I didn't push it. We lifted his felt 2 inches onto a wooden wedge without damaging it then capped the top. I'm the future a rail saw could be run along it and his side done.
The blocks stop at the bottom of the upvc and there is timber framework set back bringing it behind the brickwork. The only way to have done it would be bring it all forward and wrap round the bricks, too much plastic she says. Or knock the blocks down and build a new timber frame.
On a plus note the majority of the felt went in 3 wheely bins. Borrowed a couple of empty ones from the village hall. You should of seen the bloke trying to pull them across the stones
