Yes i had thought that... BUT for years we had been using an old tin of filler and had no problems.is it possible its to much catalyst causing it ?
do a test patch somewhere warm...might be a dud tin
To be honest not yet....i plan to buy an alternative anyway.Did you check the date on the bottom, I've been fobbed off with old stuff

My son feels he is layering stopper (with hardner) on too thick.
We are going to get some fantastic but it comes in different colour tins and at least 1 says easy sanding...lol
Speaking to him tonight i think its stopper cracking....id prefer a tin of fantastic to be honest
in all the years ive used 100s of tins of filler at work i can think ive ever seen filler crack , had soft spots from not mixing it but never cracks
that gun will produce a good enough finish as is, i have 2 , i did all my kitchen unit doors in white and compared to the new ones in our new house id say the painted ones were of better finish.Things go from bad to worse....i feel like death warmed up instead of looking like it.
Saab 9-5 1.9TID has developed a noise when the clutch is depressed fully and just let off slightly.
Not the usual symptom for a dodgy dual mass.
Anyway back to painting.. .i have checked out specs for the primer and gjn and we are using a Devilbiss GTI Pro Base which has a 1.3 nozzle. The paint supplier is suggesting that nozzle is not big enough for the high build so its carrying more solvent than paint.
He has suggested a cheap HVLP gun would assist things. We already have thisView attachment 166227
But at that price is it really better for primer.
I painted my towtruck with it using an enamel type paint. Even the body was reasonable but i now keep that gun for black fire paint so i will need to give it a good spruce up...lolthat gun will produce a good enough finish as is, i have 2 , i did all my kitchen unit doors in white and compared to the new ones in our new house id say the painted ones were of better finish.
