Belonged to my Grandfather, I’ve known it for at least 45 years, probably been in the family for around 55 years. My Grandad was a tool maker
Tried to sell it both here and on eBay, no one wanted it so a plan was hatched to turn it into a lamp
Cable runs through the copper pipe, pully turns and valve has been the tinkered with to eliminate back pressure
It’s all been PAT tested by a mate.
Bulb is one of those modern, but retro LED jobbies
I’m quite chuffed with this, it’s gonna be a presie for my dad’s 70th Birthday
Should have said, it’s a single piston compressor, I wire brushed the casing and treated it with proper beeswax
