AliExpress or EBay?

I must have a dozen blacksmith bits that regularly need sharpening. Just trying to decide if £200 extra is acceptable.

I worked on the assumption that the opportunity for doing larger bits is simply a worthwhile convenience. If you're going to drop a decent chunk of cash on a tool, may as well go the full hog.

The wheels are a common size, so readily available on the likes of Aliexpress.

If you look on Youtube, there are plenty of reviews on the various marques of these machines.

Also, if ordering from Amazon, if it is a pup, it's simple to return.

Which would you choose?

You always want to order from the most sold listing on aliexpress, higher chance of it being legitimate and often a better seller. I've experienced that I don't get hit with import tax if you're not charged at sale point for >£130 orders, might not always be the case but most Chinese sellers put a lower value to avoid customs fees.

Also that ebay seller only has 1 feedback so wouldn't really trust it.

This one has the most sale compared to one you linked and it's £248 all in including tax.

Just had a quick look. Can't find his review, but I did find this one for the MR13. This bloke's an easy watch too.

I think the one I purchased was sub £200 to the door, I will check that out. As Matt says I believe they are all pumped out of the same factory and badge engineered.

I actually bought the one I use .
Banggood or Vevor "the two I do reviews for"
Did not do one in the UK .
Not sure who I bought it from .
It was around £250.
Really good bit of kit .
Well worth the money .

Another point to note, is that if you're wanting to do split points, & go for the 13mm model, I believe it's the MR13B, not A, you'll need.
