Go to the checkout on Ali, and see if taxes are added.
It's over the £150 whereby the marketplace has to collect VAT, but they can still collect it for more expensive items.

I've never used Aliexpress but I know a few people who buy fishing kit from them.

Apparently it's worth sticking the item into your basket and leaving it there as you might get an email with a reduced price offered.

The only thing is you have to register an account to add stuff to the basket and they bombard you with emails daily..

Yours is the cheapest.

The Ali one has tax included but expensive shipping.

The eBay one specifically says tax is the buyers responsibility. 20% plus processing costs. Plus a tiny bit of duty, I think. Plus vat on the processing costs. Plus vat on the duty...

id take ebay if it never turns up or is crap , good chance of being refunded with them

When I unsubscribed from Aliexpress' emails, I was "punished" by them. The punishment was the need for a mobile number which, as signal is bad to non existent, isn't going to work.

Front loaded up with the collets.



There's a spare space on both the 20 & 25 rack, but there was also a 14mm & 15mm ER20 included in the box, (they overlap with the 25's), so I popped the ER20 14mm in the spare hole, just to fill it.

If it works as well as it looks, I'll be a happy bunny.

I do believe they all come from the same factory. I'm sure the instruction manual on that one is a MRCM manual.

The one I purchased on eBay was about the same price and arrived quickly with no taxes added, delivered by ups. No idea who/where it was made, other than prc, the instructions were pathetic.

@MattF i quite fancy the extra capacity to 20mm but it's quite a jump in price! How are you finding it to run?

Being honest, I still haven't got around to using it, as yet. The pile of blunt bits is awaiting it, but life simply keeps getting in the way, as with a lot of my projects.

I do recall when I just flicked it on when I first got it, however, it runs surprisingly smooth & quietly. I was expecting the motor to be a bit noisy, but it's not. Very compact units, & quite heavy for their size. The collet holders appear to be well made.

I must have a dozen blacksmith bits that regularly need sharpening. Just trying to decide if £200 extra is acceptable.

In small drill bits it will save me hours as they're very time consuming to do by hand on the grinder. Especially the 5 and 6mm I tend to go through.

Looks like spare wheels are available at £69 which isn't horrendous.
