They were £159.99+6.95 postage last year (when I bought mine), but were reduced to £129.99 + postage around Christmas.
The Aldi saw is Scheppach. The Lidl one was cheaper and different.

Today they are £114.99 plus delivery.
Yeah I couldn’t resist one at that money, was kicking myself that I didn’t get one at £150
I couldn’t resist either, mine arrived yesterday and had a quick play today. Any recommendation on speed vs material? Just tried the slowest speed on some 50mm x 3mm box and was fine, but wondered if there are any recommendations. I worked on slower is better and just let the saw work through on its own without adding pressure.

Ordered one the other day at the new lower price. Hoping it'll come in useful for cutting the box for my car rotisserie.
After 40 years of the angle grinder I reckon it's time for the proper tool to cut box at home! That and finally make use of all those bits of box and tube scored over the years.
Someone remind me please about where to get spare blades.

Let me know if they are any good, thought 24tpi is a bit fine?! I bought the Milwaukee 14tpi ones but the weld is awful on them!!

Looks like I had the last 4. The ad on eBay has been taken down.
things have been a bit tight of late financially, so it wasnt really a priority spend, but I couldnt not have it at that price, like the parkside Plasma (Which hasnt been out of the box yet either)

Mine turned up yesterday too. The night before the conversation went:
SWMBO: "I'm awaiting a delivery, I treated myself to book".
Me: "Me too, I treated myself to a saw".
SWMBO: "Another one! How much was that?"
Me: " Erm...a hundred and something".
SWMBO: "Mine was only £8, why do you need another one / something else for me to trip over / what does it do that the others don't / blah blah blah...".
If she'd see the benefit & let me pump some money into a decent workshop I don't know what we'd talk / row about! I mean if I was in there we could avoid each other.
