if i were you id give the guys a ring that will re charge the system, tell them its a new comp and you got oil with it, see what they sayOk. We're all impressed that you know what you're talking about. So. Answer me a simple question. Do I fill it up with oil, drain it out or let the man who re gasses it do it?

its hard to say really isnt it, they need oil but then again when its get to the recharge station its all gonna be sucked outhe certainly isnt going to get a straight answer on here it seems...

dont have a clue, never messed around with one, if it states the amount to put in then id stick it in, i dont suppose they supply it to stay on your shelfAt last. Someone who gives a straight answer. Don't suppose you know if I fill it with oil, drain it. ..........

I think you would do better to go to an air con specialist & ask. Most places like ATS that advertise air con filling just connect it up to a machine & switch on, I don't think they do compressor changes & this sort of thing. When my sons compressor went on his Toyota, the specialist recommended flushing it out in case there was debris from the old one.Alternatively I'll whip in to ATS in the morning and have a word
