Just incase the OP or anyone is looking at the jasic machines they look like rebranded escco ezicut, £15k with no THC and an extra £5k to add THC makes an xtreme table look like very good value, similar rail design to reduce moment loading on the gantry at the expense of only being able to easily load front and back, no issue with a 4ft table. The extreme uses rack and the escco ezicut/jasic uses leadscrews, I've never seen an ezicut run but the leadscrews look a pretty small diameter for a 4ft table and I would be concerned they would whip especially if they ever get bent after a crash, it also means you cant manually push the gantry , probably not that important though.

I have an Xtreme table running a Thermacut plasma. The table is magnificent, as is the support from Rob. I would never go for Thermacut again. The level of support in the UK is dire and any question to the manufacturer gets farmed out to UK agents who, quite frankly, are not interested in small orders. Fortunately I bought a box of 50 nozzles and tips from Rob when the machine was new so as long as I look after the torch I should be fine.

I am happy with my r-tech cutter. It’s the second one as the first failed but they replaced it by 24hour carrier. I know it shouldn’t have failed but it did and their back up was fine.
They are cheap and that’s reflected in the reliability but that said, mines done hundreds of hours now and no worries touch wood.

I too bought a Xtreme 4x4 table a couple of months ago on the strength of the positive feedback he and his machines receive.
Very happy, gone from a complete cnc virgin to being able to knock out some worthwhile projects. It just works!! I feel a lot of effort has been put into making it straightforward for newbies like myself to get up and running. As said it's a steep learning curve, for me the biggest issue is making watertight cad drawings that will process properly. Sheetcam and Mach 3 are not to bad if you've got the drawing correct.
I'm surprised how quickly a cnc plasma is changing the way I work. I've a long way to go before I get to Fraserb's level but we're making good progress.
And I must add that I've bought welding machinery off both Tom at WSD and Jim Davey in the past and would highly recommend them both

We run a swiftcut with hypetherm 125 plasma . Machines nearly 2 year old and no issues so far . I come from a cnc background of running lasers and cnc presses and I’m very impressed by the swiftcut extremely easy to use. Small issue with heights on fine cut nozzles but easily fixed with settings . We are based in Westmeath and the crowd who supplied it (can’t think of who off top a me head ) are very good any issues we had were sorted (mostly our own fault ) overall highly recommend. Iv seen people give bad reviews but from experience I’d rate one of the biggest laser manufacturers as terrible from one machine and great on the other when we were running 2 same brand but they both were over a million each
