Hi
We are a small exhibition contractor manufacturing exhibition stands and displays.
We often cut sheet metal for various purposes including sign brackets etc.
We don’t do this all that often - maybe once a day or less - and presently we use either an angle grinder or a handheld plasma torch.
Interested in investing in a CNC plasma table system - thinking a 4’ x 4’ size - in and around a £10 to £15k price point.
Just looking for some advice from anyone in a similar position - as to what we should be looking out for in terms of a CNC plasma table system.
What are the main things we should look for - for someone like us - who aren’t experts by any means and use a machine maybe once a day or less - but do need accuracy and quality cuts - and easy to use.
(understand that we also need to look at plasma cutters too - as our old thermal dynamics handheld system cannot be adapted to CNC)
Any feedback is very welcome.
Thanks in advance.
