Hi all,
Has anyone done a DIY job grinding a garage floor before painting with epoxy? Bought the epoxy paint not realising the concrete needs diamond grinding before painting.
Have carbide / diamond discs, shroud for floor sander, and shop vac, along with welding papr with a clear hood.
BUT have just read up on the silica risk, said to be only second to asbestos, so wondering if my gear won't be upto it? There is mention of class m vacuum etc and thinking it might just not be worth it as it's just a domestic garage, wanted to use epoxy for the damp proofing its primer offers.
Thanks
