That's what I'm wondering, they are rated at 250 kg using a pulley and 125kg as a straight pull. Looking at the YouTube video with a Moggy shell it goes quite easily!
Studding in various metric diams --any nut and bolt supplier.
How about these?? the right stuff

Hi Daniel, yes he is certainly cheaper for the threaded rod but I don't see any square nuts on his site, I will give him a ring tomorrow. He's pretty OTT with his prices, you will not beat Zappautomation, believe me I have shopped around for the cheapest CNC components as I am constructing a CNC.
Ros is good but twin start 16 X 4 nuts are non existant on his site, yet they sell rod?
Nice find though -bookmarked for future use.

I forgot we discussed this problem back in May, I think you may spend the best part of what the CJ Autos lifting device costs building your own. Do you use axle stands on the roller ladder bars to support the car when it's rolled over? What about continuing those ladder bars over to the other wheel hub then use a trolley jack with a U shaped lifting pad to lift the car in stages with an axle stand?
