never had a problem with tiger seal myself
never had a problem with tiger seal myself
I found it hard to work with at lower temp and certainly does not grip the way T7 does on old alloy , i also found that you have to be very very careful about the date on the tube , its shelf life is shocking .
Yep , once I open a tube i try hard to use it , a day or two and the rest of the tubes not worth the bother ,,, good policy on the fresh supply though. I dont buy enough to have that buying power ,, so I just look carefully at the dates. Most of those sealants have 12month SHELF life, if opened it is shorter
We buy a fair bit of specialised adhesives & tapes, if there is not at least 11 months life we wont accept it
very much the same , except I find t7 sticks even better ,, dries the same ish though ,,, sort of like indestructable wheelie bin plastic.Sikaflex (221 etc) is the one I keep going back to. Seems to be similar to tec7,I've not tried it, in as far as it permanently stains your hands and sticks like ........
il second that stuff just wear the gloves though when using it. it will not come off even with thinners I got covered in it![]()
nowt it was to stick strips of wood in square holes in a ceiling then screw them down and fit squares of plasterboard in with smaller holes than it had for new downlighters it got a bity claggyWhat were you trying to stick yourself too?
