Personally i would go with the Parweld as the Jasic may require servicing to meet the warranty requirements(This is a grey area).
I dont think specification wise there is much between them.

Might want to consider the size difference between them too, I think the parweld is a good be smaller than the Jasic.

This is kind of a bit of a myth. Basically, if you send a machine back under warranty and it looks abused/neglected (full of swarf, broken plastics front and rear, massive dent in the side etc.) and you've never had a service, them they have some grounds to decline warranty. However, take reasonable care of it, then the 5 year warranty is yours.
You don't have to send it back to them for service, you can have it serviced anywhere with a competent technician. Obviously it can only go back to Wilkinson Star for the actual warranty but that's the same arrangement with pretty much any UK supplier.

Yes i wouldn't expect damaged or abuse to be considered, but its the servicing bit i wasnt sure about.
I am surprised they haven't clarified the terms, as it must be putting people off.
Most welding kit states in the instruction about removing covers and cleaning internals, but the last time a look at this i got the impression it had to be serviced by them or a agent to be considered for the ongoing warranty.

Size is no issue as i intend to build a new trolley to fit which ever welder i get.

Recently the Pedal has been acting up on my eastwood and i've been looking to upgrade recently.

Which ever machine i get, will be used for approx 4-5 hours a day, Mix between Stainless and alloy from 30-150amps

I've not used the Parweld but have 6 of those Jasics. They work fine bud and good for both AC and DC. The foot pedal is a bit of a funny angle but you get used to it. I've had no issues with them and they get serviced every year by a chap I know. To get the extended warranty you just register them online. As ours are for teaching they take some abuse but, (fingers crossed and touching wood) have put up with the day to day rigours of youthful enthusiasm!!!

IIRC @Hood has the previous model parweld and @Noods has the current model parweld (albeit just got his so still tinkering and figuring out how it all works)

Mine is the same as that one. Had a year almost, used quite a bit and no problems so far and I like it a lot.

I really need to finish it though, really want a WP20, Be ideal with all these manifolds im making.

about the same as when you buy a recondition tv or used drill

they clean the out side too look as new as possable and possably if your lucky blow the insides out with an air compresser

if your very lucky they might chesk the tightness of all conections

Service it might be called but on an inverter it's more of an inspection and a clean.
It's a dust out, a visual look at the boards for possible signs of heat marks/ broken or cracked solder joints etc. Check connections are pushed on/tightened properly and a possible poke about with a meter to make sure voltages are reading what they should be. It's not a pointless thing to get it done as a component that's failing spotted earlier rather than later could save you the whole thing spitting it's dummy out. It only takes one loose connection to create a spark or short and send the thing to an early grave. Metallic dust really recks em and that clean out could be the difference between another 2 years service or a total disaster. I'm not an expert with these things but I do my own service on mine 2 times a year and although I don't poke about inside it with a meter I do keep it clean and check all the internals and connections, wires etc.
EDIT- the external clean is absolutely essential. No point in doing half a job.

My EWM has a section in the manual dedicated to service requirements, it shows what needs to be done and what voltage tests etc should be done. So in this case it is not simply a blow out and polish.

And if your checking OCV with your meter do it in mma mode not tig. Volt meters seriously don't like hf.

A big part of the inspection is the electrical safety aspect. Checking the integrity of the earth conductor, making sure mains and welding voltages aren't leaking/shorting out into the casing (some nasty voltages present in your average inverter) so it's more than just a dust off and an invoice. It is here anyway...
