Here y'are lads. Some old trundlers from the Dalkeith and Country Ag show this avo. But first, my dog, Show Champion!!!! (he's never been in a dog show before. ha har). That's Drainetta with him btw.

I do like the limo Snowy. You should have had it painted white though.

Think painting it white might have pushed relationship with the rep I borrowed it from, and even worse not got me option on said free boozy trip seven years on

I see the beer tent was busy, still watching them staggering doon the hill, apart from the beer tent, how did the rest of the show go? I gave it a miss this year.

Ah T, you missed a good 'un... well, a goodish wee bash anyway. Not so much to see, as it's a tiny show. But a good bunch of livestock, some cracking sheep, some mediocre Clydies (one good one), the odd coo, and a small selection of plant.

I'm not surprised there's some staggering going on as they'll have been drinking on empty stomachs. You'd think an ag show would arrange some decent food, but no - one rubbish burger van, and a sweet stall. Doesn't say much for the local fare, although the decent sellers will have been at the farmers market in Embra.

Anyway the dog got FIVE rosettes, bless him, as the MSP who was judging was very taken with him, so it was a 1st for "most handsome dog", a handful of lesser awards, then the Show Champion. Well deserved, i'm sure.

Thats always the way at any of those ag shows, burger van, ice cream van... as good as it gets, We always get the olivers mate, jimmy selling his fare at the local shows, always the worst stand, but the biggest que, the power of TV ehhh

DK Ag show has been deteriorating for a few years, gone are the days when Lugton village was made a one way system for show and spectator traffic. Livestock varied, and a plenty, good varied grub was a plenty too, one burger van eh.........Hmmmmmmmmm, I wonder how long this show will carry on?

Nor me, I look like the missing member of Bros on my photos .

One of my neighbours used to have a vintage tractor, think that was an alliss chalmers, not sure what happened to it after he died though, he was well into stuff like that, stationary engines and the like.
