Heres the job i had to do, repair this ali tailgate that snagged when dropping a load and cracked the box section,
Up a ladder, foot pedal between my knees,
What was amazing is how welding machines have moved on in regards to lower power input required,
I was using somewhere between 130-160 amps on my dynasty 200 on a 13amp domestic supply coming from a portacabin that probably didnt have the best supply going in,
Thats not all,
I had a 50 metre extension cable running from the portacabin to my welder and didn't pop the 13amp fuse,
Yeah it was pretty warm but held up
There is something about a good thick cable extension going to a sort of commando 13amp to 16 amp plug that makes it quite hard to pop the 13
