I found a thread on another platform calling me selfish because I’ve abandoned vice production
If there’s no metal and what there is is to expensive what can I do.
Someone had enquired about ten and tried telling me some money is better than no money, he couldn’t understand that making and selling ten for a £500 loss each is pointless. It was like he thought I had ten in a shipping container and I may as well get some money back

I was recently given a 5mm thick 5' X 4' sheet of aluminium as it had scratches in it and couldn't be used.
I checked the price and best I saw was £395

I’m being crushed under the burden of trying to finish jobs that were quoted before material prices went truly stupid.
Got to have major workshop reshuffle as it’s so wide with the powerpack in the design position I can’t get my forklift past to load the devlieg ( previous owners broke the lube pump squeezing a forklift past)
So I need to make a extended wiring loom and hydraulic pipes
Very frustrating as I have work that can only be done on the butler
